🛰️ Linea, formerly known as ConsenSys zkEVM, is a Layer 2 (L2) platform poised to serve as the foundation for upcoming decentralized applications (dApps). It presents a blend of adaptability and scalability. Leveraging the potency of zero-knowledge proofs alongside complete Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) compatibility, Linea facilitates the swift creation of scalable dApps or seamless migration of existing ones. Having exceeded initial projections during its private testnet phase, Linea notched up 1.5 million transactions within its inaugural weeks, signaling its promising trajectory.

💰 Through five funding rounds, Linea has secured an impressive sum of 775 million USD, achieving a valuation of 7 billion USD. Among the prominent contributors in these rounds are leading crypto investment entities like Dragonfly and Coinbase Ventures, alongside established financial titans such as Microsoft and SoftBank.

🏛️ ConsenSys, the parent company of Linea, exhibits robust financial performance. In 2022, it recorded a revenue of 720 million USD. ConsenSys focuses on creating Decentralized Applications and providing associated tools for developers and users within the blockchain domain, primarily centered on the Ethereum network. Notable products in its portfolio include the widely used crypto wallet MetaMask, a blockchain development tool Infura, and others. Positioned as a leading force within the Ethereum ecosystem, ConsenSys holds significant influence and stature.

Linea Voyage: The Surge

👀 Linea Surge introduces an LXP-driven initiative allowing users to earn LXP-L by staking assets on Linea and engaging with its protocols. The primary objective of The Surge is to reward liquidity providers with LXP-L tokens, akin to the current LXP system, but earned through contributing liquidity to Linea. A central emphasis lies in broadening the spectrum of available assets via new applications and DeFi utilities integrated into Linea. The influx of liquidity from these applications not only sustains increased transaction volumes but also enhances the profitability of liquidity provision through higher fees and a greater share of ecosystem trading activity. This dynamic fosters a self-reinforcing network effect within the ecosystem, akin to a flywheel mechanism.

🔎 Different assets will have different weights and points rewards depending on their utilization in different protocols. Try leaving your assets wisely through multiple protocols to get higher rewards.

Lynex

➡️Lynex — an innovative decentralized exchange (DEX) and liquidity hub operating on the Linea blockchain. Lynex facilitates diverse actions for both users and DAOs. This includes token swapping, earning $LYNX tokens through liquidity provision, participating in voter incentives, and shaping emission strategies to optimize trading revenues.

Linea Ecosystem

At present, various projects such as LayerZero, Galxe, Orbiter Finance, and others have seamlessly integrated into the Linea ecosystem. Despite boasting over 100 supported DApps, a significant portion of them mirrors functionalities found within the Ethereum ecosystem. Below are several notable projects thriving within the Linea network.

❗️Before starting any activity on Linea, we recommend taking a look at our EVM ecosystem introduction guide, where we cover the vitals of EVM navigation.

Bridges

✴️Stargate Finance a liquidity transport protocol that lives at the heart of Omnichain DeFi developed by LayerZero. It has 15 chains supported and is the most convenient for users with the highest amount of assets supported.

🦏Rhino Finance — bridge for seamless cross-chain transactions, which supports the biggest L2 chains. It combines bridge and swap in one platform offering relatively low transaction costs.

🛰️Orbiter Finance — a decentralized cross-rollup bridge that offers low-cost, safe, and almost instant transfers of Ethereum native assets. It has 17 supported chains.

DeFi (DEXes & Lendings)

0️⃣ZeroLend — a powerful decentralized lending protocol built on L2s. Based on Aave V3 and powered by Pyth and Chainlink. It is available on Linea, zkSync, and Manta

🔬Renzo — an interface on top of EigenLayer, enhancing Ethereum staking by securing Actively Validated Services and offering higher yields.

🏦Mendi — a decentralized lending protocol for individuals, institutions, and protocols to access financial services. It is a permissionless, open-source protocol serving users on Linea.

🔄SyncSwappowered by zero-knowledge technology, SyncSwap brings more people easy-to-use and low-cost DeFi with complete Ethereum security.

👩🏻‍💼Gamma — A protocol for active liquidity management and market-making strategies. Gamma offers non-custodial, automated, and active concentrated liquidity management services.

🏞️Nile — native DEX built and supported by Linea and ConseSys

Other tools

🎫Linea Name Service — a decentralized naming service developed on Linea Mainnet.

🔢Nomis — on-chain Identity Protocol that enables users to leverage their on-chain Reputation and get personalized web3 experiences.

🧾zkPass — a private data protocol that enables privacy-preserving verification.

✉️DMail — an AI-powered decentralized communication infrastructure built to provide encrypted emails, unified notifications, and targeted marketing across multiple chains and dApps for users, developers, and marketers.

🔎Linea Explorer — allows you to explore and search the blockchain for transactions, addresses, tokens, prices and other activities taking place on Linea Mainnet.
